This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Act as the main liaison among Olsson's design team, client representatives, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders throughout the construction phase.
β’ Organize construction-phase documentation, which includes requests for information, shop drawings, submittals, substitution requests, design packages, and associated project records.
β’ Assess documentation for cross-discipline coordination, completeness, quality, and consistency with design intent and contract documents.
β’ Analyze design modifications and field conditions, coordinate technical contributions from relevant disciplines, and assist in evaluating impacts on scope, schedule, and budget.
β’ Lead or engage in project meetings, convey decisions and action items, and ensure follow-through with the design team and project partners.
β’ Monitor project advancement, outstanding items, risks, and upcoming milestones while keeping accurate and organized records.
β’ Assist in project financial management through invoice coordination, change management, and monitoring of project budgets and timelines.
β’ Conduct site observations as necessary to oversee progress, identify possible deficiencies, and communicate findings.
β’ Facilitate the resolution of technical and site-specific challenges to minimize rework, delays, and disruptions.
β’ Aid in project closeout, which includes punch-list activities, final testing and commissioning coordination, record documents, and final deliverables.
β’ Travel to project sites as required for observations, meetings, and project coordination.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; an associate degree with equivalent experience is acceptable in place of a bachelor's degree.
β’ Over 4 years of experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry with progressively increasing project responsibilities.
β’ At least 2 years of experience in project management, construction management, or construction administration, which may overlap with overall project experience.
β’ Familiarity with engineering and design terminology, construction processes, contracts, project financials, and applicable codes.
β’ Excellent communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
β’ Capability to foster effective relationships, navigate challenging discussions, and resolve issues within project teams.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management platforms.
β’ Familiarity with Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Newforma, Smartsheet, or similar tools is advantageous.
