Configuration Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Set up Project Portfolio Management components such as project templates, project types, burden schedules, cost rules, expenditure types, and work-breakdown structures.

• Maintain configurations that support cost collection, funding allocation, billing events, revenue methods, cost-capitalization rules, and project-status transitions.

• Ensure proper integration setup among Projects, Time & Labor, Procurement, Payables, Receivables, and Fixed Assets.

• Update configuration workbooks, maintain setup documentation, and oversee configuration migration across various environments.

• Diagnose cross-module project-accounting issues and assist in testing cycles (SIT, UAT, regression).

• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to ensure that project-accounting configuration adheres to policies and compliance standards.

• Support the entire project lifecycle from initial setup to financial closeout.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in configuring Oracle Cloud PPM or Oracle EBS Project Accounting modules.

• In-depth understanding of project-cost flows, funding, billing, revenue, and closeout processes.

• Experience in validating integrations across Time & Labor, Procurement, AP, AR, GL, and Fixed Assets.

• Proficient in writing functional specifications, test scripts, process flows, and configuration documentation.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot cross-module issues.
