Configuration Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee configuration items, baselines, and version records for software and documentation.

• Administer source code repositories, including branches and builds.

• Monitor change requests and document their status throughout the approval and release process.

• Assist with release and deployment activities.

• Generate configuration status reports and assist with audits.

• Adhere to and contribute to the enhancement of configuration management procedures.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in configuration management, release, or build processes.

• Proficiency with version control tools such as Git, Subversion, or ClearCase.

• Understanding of change management and release procedures.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong recordkeeping abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Regular use of standard office equipment, including but not limited to computers, phones, scanners, and printers, is required.

• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps is preferred.

• ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.

• Experience in supporting federal government contracts is preferred.
