Computer Systems Analyst III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Evaluate business processes and system requirements to create effective technological solutions.

• Design, implement, maintain, and enhance intricate computer systems and application environments.

• Work closely with stakeholders to collect, document, and validate both business and technical requirements.

• Perform feasibility studies and assess suggested system enhancements and new initiatives.

• Identify challenges related to data integration and develop solutions for complex business issues.

• Suggest improvements to systems, optimize processes, and propose technology strategies.

• Assist in the development of system designs, workflows, data structures, and functional specifications.

• Diagnose system problems and coordinate resolution efforts with technical teams.

• Act as a bridge between business users and technical staff to ensure successful project outcomes.

• Lead or mentor junior analysts and support cross-functional project teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Security Clearance is mandatory.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• Over 5 years of experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or application support.

• Strong grasp of the systems development lifecycle (SDLC), requirements gathering, and system design methodologies.

• Experience in analyzing data from various sources and addressing complex business and technical challenges.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Experience in supporting enterprise systems in finance, logistics, operations, inventory management, engineering, or business administration (preferred).

• Familiarity with database technologies, reporting tools, and business process optimization (preferred).

• Experience in leading project workstreams or mentoring junior analysts (preferred).

• Knowledge of system integration, workflow automation, and data management best practices (preferred).
