This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Oversee and ensure continuous adherence to relevant state and federal gaming regulations across all BetMGM locations.
• Perform compliance assessments and audits of products, promotions, marketing materials, and data practices to recognize and reduce regulatory risks.
• Monitor regulatory developments across U.S. jurisdictions, evaluate their business implications, and provide timely updates to pertinent internal stakeholders.
• Accurately prepare, review, and submit regulatory filings, reports, and documentation for license renewals in a timely manner.
• Work in collaboration with Legal, Product, Trading, and Operations teams to offer compliance advice on the launch of new products, feature modifications, and promotional initiatives.
• Assist in internal investigations and incident response activities, including root-cause analysis and remediation strategies.
• Maintain and continuously enhance compliance documentation, policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Utilize data and analytics tools to create compliance monitoring dashboards and automate regulatory reporting processes.
• Cultivate relationships with key internal and external partners, prioritize conflicting compliance needs, and synchronize cross-functional efforts to ensure timely fulfillment of regulatory obligations.
• 2–4 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or risk management.
• Experience in a regulated gaming or iGaming environment is highly preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. state gaming regulations and licensing requirements.
• Excellent analytical and research capabilities with the ability to interpret intricate regulatory language and translate it into clear business guidance.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Snowflake functionalities.
• Familiarity with compliance management systems, GRC tools, or regulatory tracking platforms is a plus.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and concise compliance reports and policy documents.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Business, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• A keen interest in regulated sports betting or iGaming is highly encouraged; prior experience is especially valued.
• Applicants must have legal authorization to work for the company in the U.S. without the requirement for immigration sponsorship.
