This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Investigate automotive incidents involving one or more vehicles that result in property damage and/or bodily injury, with attorney and litigation involvement.
• Evaluate coverage, liability, and damages related to claims.
• Deliver customer service throughout the claims process.
• Communicate with clients and attorneys via phone calls, emails, and text messages.
• Negotiate equitable injury settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants.
• Perform thorough damage assessments and interpret policies to establish coverage.
• Keep clients informed on claim progress through their preferred communication methods.
• Review and negotiate claims settlements in alignment with legal and business standards.
• Manage challenging and intricate negotiation scenarios.
• Utilize estimation tools, job aids, and settlement platforms effectively.
• Accurately and promptly document claims within the claims management system.
• Safeguard the company's financial interests by adhering to policy agreements.
• Over 3 years of experience in handling represented third-party Bodily Injury claims.
• Experience in managing serious, complex, and litigated Bodily Injury claims.
• Familiarity with claims processing in Texas, Louisiana, and/or Arkansas.
• Comprehensive understanding of Gross Tort Value and Risk Analysis is a plus.
• Experience with NextGen, Mitchell Decision Point, and Casualty Center is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone.
• Ability to work independently and remotely while managing time effectively.
• Knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and liability assessment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Awareness of innovative tools and platforms for claims evaluation.
• Must have a home office in the United States; this position is not available to residents of California, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.
• A dedicated private home workspace that is free from distractions is required.
• Minimum internet speed of 50 MB down/5 MB up is necessary.
• An appropriate work surface and seating must be provided.
• Successful completion of a background investigation is mandatory.
• Any necessary adjuster and/or appraiser license must be obtained within 60 days of hiring.
• Active insurance license holders must terminate existing appointments and may not hold concurrent appointments during employment.
