This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct investigations into automobile accidents that involve one or more vehicles, resulting in property damage and/or bodily injury, particularly in relation to attorneys or litigation.
• Evaluate coverage, liability, and damages associated with claims.
• Communicate with customers and attorneys through voice calls, emails, text messages, and occasionally video conferencing.
• Negotiate equitable injury settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants.
• Manage severe, intricate, and litigated bodily injury claims.
• Examine damage details and interpret policies to ascertain coverage.
• Keep customers updated and offer preferred communication methods.
• Utilize legal and industry-standard methodologies for claims handling.
• Employ estimate tools, job aids, settlement platforms, NextGen, Mitchell Decision Point, Casualty Center, and various claims systems.
• Ensure timely and precise documentation of claims.
• Safeguard the company's financial interests by adhering to policy agreements.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience managing represented third-party Bodily Injury claims.
• Proven experience in handling severe, complex, and litigated Bodily Injury claims.
• Familiarity with claims management in Texas, Oregon, Iowa, and/or Nebraska.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone.
• Ability to work independently and remotely while effectively managing time.
• Understanding of insurance policies, coverage, and liability assessment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of modern tools and platforms for claims evaluation.
• Minimum internet speed of 50 MB down/5 MB up.
• A dedicated private home office that is free from distractions.
• Adjustment and/or appraiser license may be required within 60 days of hire, if applicable.
• Background investigation is mandatory.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 4:30 PM CST.
• Home office must be located in the United States; this position is not available to residents of California, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.
• Candidates with active insurance licenses must cancel existing appointments and are not permitted to hold outside appointments during employment.
