Compensation Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance strategic and operational compensation objectives in collaboration with the Compensation leadership team.

• Recognize compensation-related risks and formulate mitigation strategies.

• Design and implement strategic compensation plans and project initiatives.

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of broad-based compensation programs, which includes market analysis, program development, and administration.

• Direct network-wide compensation efforts, including salary ranges, grading frameworks, and commission and incentive schemes.

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and business leaders on compensation and total rewards approaches.

• Provide expert guidance and support on wage and hour laws and compliance requirements.

• Employ advanced analytical methods to generate insights for compensation-related decisions and program enhancement.

• Manage yearly pay cycles, bonus structures, and cross-departmental projects.

• Formulate strategies to tackle pay equity and compression challenges.

• Lead cross-functional and corporate project teams.

• Conduct market research and establish external partnerships to recognize compensation trends and best practices.

• Mentor and coach leaders and HR professionals in compensation matters.

• Work together with HR Centers of Excellence to enhance and implement HR initiatives.

• Spearhead complex strategic ad hoc compensation projects.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5+ years of progressive experience in broad-based compensation.

• Demonstrated experience in managing annual pay cycles, bonus structures, and equity programs.

• Proficiency in market analysis, compensation program design, and administration of intricate compensation plans.

• Strong understanding of wage and hour laws and regulations.

• Experience in leading cross-functional compensation initiatives, including M&A integrations, system implementations, and pay equity assessments.

• Background in a publicly traded organization.

• Knowledge of executive compensation and equity administration.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Capability to interact with and manage vendors and their services.

• Ability to influence decisions through data.

• Strong communication capabilities.

• Competent change management skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or an equivalent amount of professional experience.

• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation.

• Advanced proficiency with HRIS systems, particularly Workday, and specialized data analysis tools.

• Experience in implementing and managing compensation programs, including pay structures and yearly pay programs.

• Excellent analytical and quantitative abilities.

• Working knowledge of wage and hour principles, laws, regulations, HR systems, and reporting tools.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace applications.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, pull, or reposition up to 10 pounds.

• Capability to remain seated for extended periods while using office equipment.

• Close visual acuity for detail-oriented tasks and computer-related work.
