Affiliate Mental Health Coach – Independent Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct virtual, one-on-one mental health coaching sessions, each lasting 30 minutes.

• Provide short-term, solution-oriented coaching grounded in evidence-based coaching methodologies.

• Create personalized coaching plans to assist participants in reaching measurable objectives.

• Aid participants in areas such as stress management, emotional wellness, resilience, work-life balance, mindfulness, sleep health, personal development, and communication skills.

• Identify when coaching is no longer clinically suitable and facilitate referrals to counseling, therapy, or other behavioral health resources.

• Accurately document coaching sessions in a timely manner using CuraLinc's electronic documentation system.

• Ensure participant confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations, ethical standards, and CuraLinc policies.

• Engage in orientation, quality initiatives, and periodic training as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s Degree in a Mental Health Discipline (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy).

• Current certification from a Recognized Coaching Organization (e.g., International Coaching Federation (ICF), National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (NBHWC), or similar).

• Experience in providing mental health coaching through virtual (video) platforms.

• Comfort with technology and ability to train and work remotely (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Contact Management Systems, Web-Based Software, Soft Phone).

• Experience in supporting workplace mental health and well-being initiatives.

• Preferred training in Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology, Solution-Focused Coaching, or other related evidence-based coaching methodologies.

• Exceptional communication and engagement skills.

• EAP experience is preferred.

• Capability to provide services as an Independent Contractor (1099).

• Reliable high-speed internet connection and access to a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace with a computer equipped with webcam and audio capabilities.

• Ability to maintain participant confidentiality and meet documentation standards.

• Availability to accept coaching referrals based on mutually agreed scheduling.

• Must hold Professional Liability (Errors & Omissions) Insurance, Coaching Liability Insurance, or equivalent professional coverage that meets CuraLinc's minimum requirements.
