This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Evaluate compensation frameworks, benchmarking methods, processes, and systems to discover opportunities for optimization and automation.
• Collaborate with leadership to create and implement a compensation strategy that facilitates international growth from 650 to over 1,500 employees.
• Work alongside HR Operations, IT, and Finance to improve compensation systems, data accuracy, reporting, and workflow integrations.
• Enhance, document, and operationalize the global compensation philosophy.
• Develop and oversee guidelines for focal reviews, promotions, merit increases, market adjustments, and out-of-cycle exceptions.
• Design, implement, and support technology-driven compensation cycles, internal equity assessments, and focal compensation planning.
• Spearhead market pricing and compensation modeling for both U.S. and European markets utilizing survey sources such as Radford/Aon.
• Track market trends and adjust geographic pay ranges and salary structures accordingly.
• Perform impact modeling and cost analysis for structural adjustments and market corrections.
• Construct and refine a global job architecture, incorporating job families, career paths, and leveling criteria.
• Align evolving roles with the established leveling framework.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and People Managers.
• Develop self-service enablement tools, offer-generation guidelines, and decision-making frameworks.
• Establish escalation procedures and governance criteria for non-standard compensation requests.
• Assist in the design, benchmarking, and modeling of variable pay programs, sales commissions, and annual corporate bonus plans.
• Model on-target earnings, base/variable compensation ratios, and payout curves.
• Report directly to the SVP of Global People and Talent.
• At least 3 years of progressive experience in compensation or total rewards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience with multi-country compensation frameworks, including U.S. and European market dynamics and regulatory environments.
• Familiarity with market survey tools; Radford/Aon experience is preferred.
• Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets modeling, including complex formulas, pivot tables, index/match, and scenario modeling.
• Experience with HRIS compensation modules; Workday is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge in job evaluation, leveling frameworks, salary band construction, and statistical analysis of compensation data.
• Excellent interpersonal and advisory skills.
• Capable of lifting 25 lbs. and standing/sitting for extended periods.
• Must meet eligibility requirements for government authorization or documentation to access export-controlled technology, software, and information.
