This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +39 more states.
• Oversee the organization’s compensation programs, including base salary, merit increases, bonuses, incentives, and related processes.
• Direct annual and off-cycle compensation cycles, which encompass planning, analysis, approvals, Workday system management, reporting, and communications.
• Perform market pricing, job evaluations, salary structure assessments, internal equity analyses, and provide pay recommendations.
• Maintain job architecture, compensation policies, guidelines, Workday data, and all necessary supporting documentation.
• Provide guidance to HR Business Partners, managers, and leaders on compensation decisions, pay practices, job leveling, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with HRIS, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and external vendors to enhance data quality, reporting accuracy, controls, and process efficiency.
• Lead pay equity assessments and ensure compliance with relevant pay transparency, wage-and-hour, and equal-pay regulations.
• Oversee, mentor, and develop the Compensation Analyst, ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely, and confidential services.
• Report directly to the VP, People Rewards & Digital HR Solutions.
• Supervise one Compensation Analyst.
• A Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, finance, mathematics, statistics, or a related discipline is required.
• A minimum of five years of progressive experience in compensation.
• Experience with salary structures, market pricing, annual compensation planning, and pay analysis.
• Proficiency in working with HRIS and compensation systems.
• Extensive knowledge of compensation principles, market pricing, salary structures, job architecture, pay equity, incentive programs, and relevant compliance requirements.
• Advanced skills in analytics, spreadsheets, reporting, HRIS, project management, and problem-solving.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Exceptional judgment, discretion, communication, consulting, and relationship-building abilities.
• Capability to articulate complex compensation issues clearly.
• CCP, WorldatWork, SHRM, or other pertinent certification is preferred.
• Experience with Workday and Marketpay is preferred.
