Compensation Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee shipboard compensation for NCL employees, encompassing pay rates, allowances, bonuses, and various other compensation components.

• Spearhead the final testing and validation of the Workday Compensation system and the MAPS crew management and scheduling system integrations.

• Confirm the accuracy of compensation configurations, union regulations, collective bargaining agreements, pay rates, allowances, and bonuses.

• Detect and address configuration and integration challenges.

• Propel the systems integrator to swiftly resolve defects.

• Facilitate preparations for the compensation reimplementation go-live on January 1.

• Collaborate with HR, HRIS, HR Technology, and Compensation teams to guarantee precise compensation results.

• Provide active leadership while overseeing contractors and potentially 1–2 direct reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven Workday Compensation Manager with implementation experience in a complex setting.

• In-depth knowledge of unionized compensation frameworks and collective bargaining agreements.

• Experience with shipboard, maritime, or similarly intricate workforce compensation is highly advantageous.

• Background in HR, HRIS, or HR Technology, with a track record of close collaboration with Compensation teams.

• Demonstrated experience in integration testing, configuration validation, and managing systems integrators.

• Technical proficiency in testing, configuration, and HRIS.

• U.S. union experience is preferred.

• Payroll experience with international entities is an asset.

• Must be available to work during Eastern Standard Time.

• Cultural fit and hands-on HR experience are essential.

• Experience as a Workday implementer is preferred or required as outlined by manager notes.
