This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver cross-functional compensation support throughout the Leidos enterprise.
• Collaborate with Total Rewards Partners and HR stakeholders to offer compensation advice and recommendations.
• Assist multiple Sectors and Functions while reconciling business requirements with enterprise compensation policies and internal equity.
• Assess and approve promotions, job modifications, salary changes, and other compensation-related actions independently.
• Review and authorize bonus and incentive payments for compliance, reasonableness, internal consistency, and adherence to program requirements.
• Analyze positions and employee responsibilities to aid in job family classification, career level assessment, FLSA classification, and compensation decisions.
• Conduct market pricing and compensation evaluations utilizing salary survey data and internal employee information.
• Create compensation models, analyses, dashboards, and both recurring and ad hoc reports.
• Assist with annual compensation initiatives and enterprise-wide compensation projects, including analysis, system testing, reporting, implementation, and ongoing process support.
• Identify trends, recurring challenges, and opportunities to enhance compensation processes, controls, tools, and reporting.
• Contribute to operational excellence, continuous improvement, and customer service within the Compensation function.
• Execute other tasks as assigned in alignment with enterprise objectives.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and 4+ years of relevant experience in Compensation, Human Resources, or a related discipline; additional relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• Proven understanding of compensation principles and practices, including base pay, job evaluation, market pricing, salary structures, and incentive compensation.
• Familiarity with FLSA regulations and experience in assessing exempt and non-exempt classifications.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, encompassing experience in analyzing extensive data sets, developing models, and using advanced formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and other analytical features.
• Experience in creating dashboards, reports, or data visualizations to highlight trends and convey significant business insights.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and formulate recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the capacity to translate compensation concepts and complex data into clear, concise information for HR and business stakeholders.
• Demonstrated meticulousness and ability to identify inconsistencies, risks, and data quality challenges.
• Capability to independently manage multiple priorities and function effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Preferred: Experience with Workday Compensation and Workday Advanced Compensation.
• Preferred: Experience with compensation survey and market-pricing tools.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Power BI or similar dashboard and data visualization applications.
• Preferred: Experience supporting large, complex, geographically diverse, or matrixed organizations.
