This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
β’ Promote the organization's Animal Health Companion Animal product range to veterinary clinics, shelter facilities, and corporate clients.
β’ Recognize and assess customer requirements, offering appropriate solutions.
β’ Act as the primary liaison for designated customers, engaging with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
β’ Formulate customer strategies, account plans, and territory plans to create sales opportunities and enhance account growth.
β’ Collaborate with National Account Managers, the Corporate Account Team, and Distribution Field Partners on vital and corporate-owned accounts.
β’ Cultivate a unified company approach and exchange knowledge within the regional team.
β’ Evaluate monthly sales performance and control expenses within budget constraints.
β’ Identify programs and services that cater to customer needs while providing educational and training opportunities.
β’ Collaborate with leadership and Field Professional Services to design and deliver pertinent customer offerings.
β’ Stay updated on Animal Health products, industry developments, and competitive landscape.
β’ Relay customer, industry, product, and market insights throughout the organization.
β’ Establish and achieve learning and development goals.
β’ Cover the Southern Detroit, Michigan area.
β’ Travel approximately 50% of the time.
β’ High school diploma with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including professional sales, distribution, marketing, military service, or veterinary/healthcare/scientific fields; OR a bachelor's degree with 0β3 years of sales experience.

β’ Capacity to comprehend customers' changing needs and expectations, driving results accordingly.
β’ Proficient in effective selling techniques and strategies.
β’ Ability to manage multiple customers/accounts at varying stages of the sales process.
β’ Competence in identifying, developing, and independently managing diverse accounts within a territory, including complex accounts.
β’ Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and iPad usage.
β’ Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
β’ Willingness to travel overnight and engage in some weekend activities.
β’ Previous sales experience and/or experience in the Animal Health Industry is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with animal health biological and pharmaceutical products is preferred.
β’ Understanding of or experience with distribution is preferred.
β’ A valid driving license is required.
