Community Support Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.

📋 Description

• Providing assistance with personal care tasks such as showering and bathing.

• Helping with household management and preparation of meals.

• Supporting individuals in exercise programs.

• Assisting with community engagement and access.

• Providing care related to bowel, bladder, and catheter needs.

• Managing hoists and performing manual transfers.

• Offering support with medication management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care is preferred.

• Knowledge of complex medical conditions, including spinal injuries and traumatic brain injury.

• A Level 3 or Level 4 Health and Wellbeing qualification is advantageous, and candidates aspiring to enter the healthcare field will also be considered.

• Possession of a personal vehicle and a Full Driver’s License is essential for this position.

• Willingness to work on a rotating schedule.

• Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
