This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Engage directly with registrants to offer prompt assistance, address inquiries, and guide them in accessing virtual community resources and opportunities.
• Facilitate the program’s goal of linking registrants with pertinent resources, opportunities, and community support.
• Daily moderate and interact with registrants on the online platform to cultivate a welcoming, collaborative, and supportive community atmosphere.
• Establish and nurture relationships with healthcare employers, partners, and stakeholders to promote job opportunities in Northern and rural regions.
• Execute engagement strategies and create social media-style content to enhance participation, retention, and peer-to-peer interaction.
• Monitor community activity and engagement metrics, identify trends, and propose enhancements.
• Provide administrative, reporting, and coordination support to ensure effective operation and ongoing improvement of the virtual community platform.
• Report to the Academic Program Manager at the Centre for Community Health Education.
• A diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Education, Health Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in program coordination, community engagement, recruitment, human resources, or a related area.
• Preference given to candidates with lived experience in Northern Ontario.
• Proven knowledge of recruitment, talent attraction, and workforce development strategies, ideally within the healthcare sector.
• Experience managing online communities, social media platforms, or digital engagement tools, with a track record of successfully building and maintaining participant engagement.
• Background in providing support to clients, learners, or stakeholders in a virtual setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of building relationships and effectively engaging with healthcare professionals, employers, and community partners.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and adapt to changing program needs and priorities.
