πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Take charge of the community experience for MasterClass Executive and Certificates cohorts from onboarding to daily interaction and alumni programming.

β€’ Develop the community strategy and establish rituals, programming, and connections that transform each cohort into an engaged network.

β€’ Act as the primary voice of the community by facilitating discussions, addressing inquiries, connecting learners, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.

β€’ Oversee multiple cohorts at once while tracking engagement, sentiment, and retention, and take proactive steps to re-engage learners.

β€’ Create and manage community platforms, channels, playbooks, templates, automations, and AI-driven workflows for scalability.

β€’ Identify and assist learner leaders, mentors, and alumni advocates.

β€’ Collaborate with the Events team on weekly live sessions and in-person experiences to boost attendance and post-event engagement.

β€’ Work alongside Product, Marketing, Program, and Support teams to translate learner feedback and community insights into enhancements.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Minimum of 6 years of experience in community management, learner or member experience, customer engagement, or a related area, including direct responsibility for a community program.

β€’ Demonstrated ability to build and expand an engaged online community, ideally starting from an early or uncertain phase.

β€’ Excellent written communication and facilitation skills, capable of engaging a sophisticated professional or executive audience.

β€’ Practical experience with community platforms such as Circle, Slack, Discord, Discourse, or Mighty Networks.

β€’ Strong organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple cohorts, programs, and community initiatives concurrently.

β€’ Proficient in using engagement and retention data to test concepts, pinpoint opportunities, and enhance the community experience continuously.

β€’ Inquisitive and adaptable regarding emerging technologies, including AI-driven community workflows.

β€’ Willingness to travel for in-person events and to adjust working hours around live programming and significant cohort milestones.

β€’ Position open to candidates located in AZ, CA, CT, FL, GA, IL, MA, MI, NH, NJ, NY, NC, OH, PA, TN, TX, UT, WA, Ontario, or British Columbia, Canada.
