Community Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage proactively in Discord, Telegram, X, TradingView, Reddit, and other pertinent group discussions.

• Deliver prompt and precise communication during chain halts, listings, and significant market fluctuations.

• Develop and oversee ambassador and power-user initiatives for market makers, quant desks, and high-volume traders.

• Conduct AMAs, live trading sessions, feature launches, competitions, and post-event analyses.

• Collect product feedback and relay issues to the Product team, ensuring communication back to the community.

• Create threads discussing microstructure, feature breakdowns, and release notes.

• Assess sentiment, share of voice, community-sourced registrations, and retention rates.

• Assist in expanding and nurturing the Kraken Pro trading community.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven trading experience, including knowledge of funding rates, maker/taker economics, slippage, and latency.

• Over 3 years of experience managing community or social media for a product aimed at a technical, discerning audience.

• Background in crypto, fintech, gaming, or developer tools.

• Excellent short-form and long-form writing capabilities.

• Experience in establishing a community or social media presence from scratch.

• Ability to work autonomously without the need for extensive approval processes.

• Comfort in navigating uncertainty within a fast-paced, frequently changing organization.

• Openness to completing job-related skills or work-style assessments as part of the hiring process.
