Community Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Engage directly in platforms such as Discord, Telegram, X, TradingView, Reddit, and other relevant group discussions.

• Provide swift and precise communications during chain halts, listings, and significant market fluctuations.

• Develop and manage ambassador and power-user initiatives for market makers, quant desks, and high-volume traders.

• Facilitate AMAs, live trading events, feature introductions, competitions, and post-event analyses.

• Communicate product challenges and community insights to the Product team, then relay the outcomes back to the community.

• Create threads focusing on market microstructure, feature analyses, and user-friendly release notes.

• Evaluate sentiment, share of voice, community-driven signups, and retention of key accounts.

• Provide support for Kraken Pro, a cryptocurrency trading platform that includes spot trading, margin, futures, staking, OTC services, and an API.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years managing community or social channels for products geared towards a technical and discerning audience; experience in crypto, fintech, gaming, or developer tools is valued.

• Active trader with a solid understanding of funding rates, maker/taker economics, slippage, and latency.

• Proficient in both short-form and long-form writing.

• Capable of de-escalating conflicts within the community and responding appropriately.

• Experience in establishing a community or account from the ground up.

• Ability to work independently without extensive guidance.

• Comfortable navigating uncertainty in a fast-paced and evolving company environment.
