Community & Events Manager – Africa

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Cultivate and oversee local user-centric online and offline Binance communities.

β€’ Manage regional social media platforms and chat groups to enhance community followers and foster positive interactions.

β€’ Identify community-friendly platforms to promote the growth of local communities.

β€’ Arrange online and offline events and gatherings in the region.

β€’ Develop, translate, and proofread content tailored for the local market.

β€’ Forge partnerships with developer communities, universities, blockchain organizations, KOLs, and Web2/Web3 audiences.

β€’ Implement online and offline developer initiatives, including hackathons, workshops, and conferences, from concept to execution.

β€’ Coordinate between Binance Angels and Binance departments to manage special projects, marketing strategies, campaigns, community AMAs, and communications.

β€’ Support the recruitment and onboarding of volunteers for the Binance Angels program.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in marketing.

β€’ Experience in digital marketing planning and execution, ideally within crypto exchanges, fintech, eCommerce, tech, or gaming sectors, with a focus on B2C.

β€’ Previous marketing or growth positions at a Spanish virtual asset exchange are highly preferred.

β€’ Familiarity with cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and the Binance ecosystem.

β€’ Highly organized, capable of effective time management, and comfortable working across different time zones and multiple projects.

β€’ Proficiency in English is essential for collaboration with international partners and stakeholders.

β€’ Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

β€’ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with numerous moving components.

β€’ Background in community management and event planning is advantageous.
