This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Drive sales and enhance care pathways for patients with rare diseases.
• Expand and develop the rare disease sector within the designated region.
• Foster existing business relationships and pinpoint growth prospects through lead and trigger follow-up.
• Interact with community prescribers and stimulate growth by utilizing digital leads to discover undiagnosed patients and inform prescribers about those diagnosed but untreated.
• Collaborate with the CSAD to create customer value account plans and establish clear execution metrics.
• Sustain stakeholder relationships to promote disease awareness, product knowledge, and referral support.
• Seek patient opportunities through strategic prospecting efforts.
• Oversee five therapeutic areas and seven brands.
• Develop and implement account plans.
• Meet and surpass patient sales objectives.
• Maintain relationships with healthcare providers.
• Educate providers on Sanofi's rare disease offerings, lysosomal storage disorders, diagnostic pathways, diagnostic tests, free testing initiatives, product administration, treatment expectations, and adherence.
• Support referral networks and promote referrals to suitable specialists.
• Communicate intricate clinical and reimbursement information to stakeholders.
• Partner with Sanofi teams across various functions.
• Travel to designated accounts and regions as necessary.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of 3 years sales experience, ideally in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
• Capability to assess complex market dynamics and develop innovative sales strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in rare diseases or specialized therapeutic areas is preferred.
• Preferred digital literacy and a digital-first approach.
• Resourcefulness and proficiency in prospecting are advantageous.
• Experience with peer-to-peer healthcare professional education programs is preferred.
• Eligibility for residency in the US and Puerto Rico.
• Willingness to travel as required to assigned accounts and regions.
