Community Connector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Establish authentic relationships with diverse micro-communities

• Welcome newcomers into the community and help them feel valued

• Conduct check-ins, follow-ups, and foster ongoing connections

• Facilitate warm introductions by linking individuals to others, programs, and resources

• Organize or extend invitations to significant gatherings and Jewish experiences

• Create accessible opportunities for individuals to connect and form relationships

• Provide monthly Shalom Neighbor experiences

• Integrate Jewish traditions, holidays, and impactful moments into daily life

• Enhance connections through Federation-managed WhatsApp groups, social media, and continuous communication

• Distribute valuable resources, programs, and opportunities throughout Jewish Palm Beach

• Record relationships and engagement through Federation-sanctioned systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Commitment for one year

• Develop and sustain four family or parent relationships each month, including two new and two ongoing relationships

• Facilitate a minimum of 12 community meet-ups or experiences annually

• Complete one Shalom Neighbor experience each month

• Submit weekly reports on activities and engagement

• Engage in monthly check-ins with the Community Connections Engagement Officer

• Fulfill required deliverables and reporting obligations

• Focus may be directed towards Young Adults, LGBTQIA+ individuals, Grandparents, Jewish Learning, or various demographic, geographic, and interest-based communities across Jewish Palm Beach
