Communications Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in communications related to key enterprise objectives, initiatives, business milestones, and significant company events.

• Foster collaborations across various functions, regions, and commercial sectors to identify compelling story ideas.

• Provide guidance to stakeholders on channel selection, timing, and audience engagement strategies.

• Analyze performance metrics and formulate actionable insights.

• Create, update, and manage content for the intranet, newsletters, emails, and digital displays.

• Aid in change management and priority initiatives while reducing communication fatigue.

• Implement Stryker brand standards, voice, and principles.

• Monitor emerging trends and technologies in communication; test and propose innovative methods.

• Contribute to the strategic planning of communications.

• Carry out enterprise editorial priorities and content strategies.

• Maintain and curate precise, up-to-date, and accessible company-level information and resources.

• Uphold consistent enterprise communication standards across various functions and regions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree.

• Outstanding writing and editing abilities with a keen eye for detail.

• Writing samples are mandatory.

• Familiarity with AP Style is advantageous.

• Proficiency in effectively communicating with diverse audiences across multiple platforms.

• Competence in utilizing Microsoft Office 365 applications efficiently.

• Knowledge of communication tools and platforms such as SharePoint, Viva Engage, Staffbase, and Marketo or similar email marketing tools is a plus.

• Preferred 1–2 years of experience in internal communications or a related field.
