Communications Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Create landing pages from the initial concept to polished, responsive final designs.

• Develop visual languages, patterns, graphic systems, and illustrations for both the website and product.

• Advance the White Circle brand across various surfaces.

• Integrate brand ideas into the product to help it convey the brand effectively.

• Generate concepts for motion, interactions, animations, and dynamic experiences.

• Design visuals for launches, campaigns, social media, events, and other brand moments.

• Investigate visual directions and transform rough ideas into compelling creative concepts.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and research teams to bring ideas to life within the product.

• Navigate between concept development, art direction, and pixel-level execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in a similar position.

• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in brand and digital design, particularly for the web.

• Exceptional visual taste with a keen eye for typography, composition, layout, and details.

• Proficient in web design and responsive layouts.

• Comfortable creating graphics and illustrations while experimenting with various visual styles.

• Understanding of motion design and how static visual concepts can animate and behave.

• Capability to independently take projects from rough concept to polished final output.

• Curiosity about technology, AI, and the convergence of design and software.

• Effective communication, self-sufficiency, and the ability to work swiftly.

• Skills in motion design are considered a significant advantage.

• Experience with 3D design is a notable plus.

• Creative coding or generative design experience is a significant advantage.

• Proficiency in prototyping ideas through coding is a considerable plus.
