Commissioning Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Supervise commissioning activities in alignment with DIV01 requirements, service level agreements (SLAs), safety protocols, HSE Assurance Plans, and Global Construction Safety Standards.

• Create commissioning procedures and standards; oversee test scripts, scheduling, coordination, execution, and documentation in collaboration with Commissioning Agents (CxAs).

• Perform site inspections, evaluate QA/QC processes, monitor critical tests at Commissioning Levels 2–5, and ensure that systems operate according to the Basis of Design and Contract Documents.

• Administer the Issue Resolution Log (IRL), utilize the Commissioning Management System, and guarantee the prompt resolution of defects during the Operations handover.

• Track RFIs and submittals; collaborate with Commissioning Agents to observe and document performance while facilitating timely responses.

• Organize commissioning meetings with vendors, manage client representatives to synchronize scope and schedules, and participate in Owner/Architect/Contractor (OAC) meetings.

• Compile regular progress reports detailing scope, schedule, budget, and KPI metrics.

• Travel for factory witness testing and provide reports on risks and delays.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), an Associate degree in Engineering Technology, or equivalent practical experience in the industry.

• Over 10 years of experience in data center facility maintenance, operations, commissioning, and project management.

• Extensive knowledge of UPS systems, switchgear, generators, and essential mechanical systems.

• Proficient in developing commissioning scripts and managing intricate commissioning processes utilizing ACxMS.

• Strong skills in issue identification and resolution management.

• Expertise in construction QA/QC practices.

• Bilingual in German and English, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
