This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
β’ Conduct searches of public records and analyze titles to assess the legal status of mainly commercial or industrial property titles.
β’ Summarize or replicate recorded documents that impact property titles.
β’ Review chains of title for a diverse array of commercial and residential title orders.
β’ Abstract and evaluate leases, subleases, liens, judgments, easements, vital statistics, as well as plot and map books.
β’ Identify ownership and legal limitations while verifying property legal descriptions and the completeness of records across county boundaries.
β’ Address issues related to missing, incomplete, inaccurate, or conflicting title documentation.
β’ Prepare initial title commitment documentation in accordance with procedural protocols.
β’ Compile and assess reports for precision.
β’ Offer underwriting interpretations within defined guidelines.
β’ Perform additional assigned responsibilities.
β’ High School Diploma or its equivalent.
β’ Over 3 years of directly related experience.
β’ State license(s) as required.
β’ Strong attention to detail and quality.
β’ Proficient analytical review skills.
β’ Effective research capabilities.
β’ Solid problem-solving abilities.
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
β’ Customer service focused.
β’ Proficient in standard MS applications.
β’ Familiarity with company operating systems.
β’ Knowledge of legal terminology is advantageous.
