This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Carry out installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs on HVAC/R systems, food service equipment, plumbing, fuel dispensers, and electrical systems within the facility.
• Address service requests; troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment in accordance with warranty obligations and industry standards.
• Keep the service technician supervisor and store management updated on repair status.
• Document same-day work order notes and submit them to the supervisor, ensuring accurate charge allocations.
• Oversee and maintain sufficient truck stock and necessary parts.
• Uphold the condition of the service vehicle, tools, uniforms, and maintenance workspaces to meet company standards.
• Diagnose and repair fuel dispensers, replace fuel filters, and engage with fuel security systems.
• Conduct inspections of facility interiors and exteriors for safety and maintenance concerns.
• Execute preventive maintenance on rooftop HVAC units, split systems, ice machines, standalone refrigeration, fryers, and various food service equipment.
• Finalize service appointments, accurately record notes, and liaise with facility maintenance.
• Perform routine testing and calibration of equipment.
• Adhere to lockout/tagout procedures and comply with OSHA, Pilot Company, and safety regulations.
• Provide coverage for regions during staff vacancies, PTO, or LOA.
• Respond to corporate project requests and surveys.
• Offer support during emergencies such as power outages or safety incidents.
• Travel may be required up to 100%.
• Support approximately 15 store locations across the Southcentral region.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• A valid state driver’s license and a positive driving record are essential.
• At least 3 years of recent experience in commercial HVAC service is required.
• EPA Universal 608 certification is necessary.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in repairing commercial cooking or refrigeration equipment is required.
• Basic knowledge and capability to repair commercial plumbing and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with OSHA guidelines is important.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required.
• Intermediate mathematical skills are necessary.
• Capability to read and interpret site drawings is needed.
• Strong attention to detail and customer service skills are crucial.
• Ability to work in congested areas during business hours.
• Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with internal departments.
• Ability to climb ladders is required.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Capability to work in adverse weather conditions is necessary.
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, crawl, and kneel is required.
• Participation in company-sponsored training, including safety training, is expected.
