Commercial Portfolio Manager I – Healthcare, G&I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee a portfolio of accounts.

• Evaluate and propose credit decisions.

• Collaborate with the Relationship Manager as part of the coverage team.

• Engage with clients and participate in business development discussions.

• Evaluate the creditworthiness of potential clients.

• Define borrowers and guarantors, deal structure, credit terms and conditions, and financial covenants.

• Assess the value of collateral.

• Contribute to changes and redesigns in workflow or processes.

• Operate within the established credit lending framework.

• Create commitment letters.

• Conduct final risk rating assessments.

• Record and document credit decisions, conditions, and modifications.

• Work alongside the Credit Analyst on portfolio management tasks.

• Set up and maintain Investor Groups on the lender portal.

• Carry out monitoring activities and perform periodic deal reviews.

• Make decisions regarding the renewal or modification of deals.

• Communicate directly with clients about credit events and actions.

• Independently present deal structures.

• Keep abreast of evolving market dynamics through continuous learning.

• Mentor Credit Analysts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business (e.g., Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting).

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit analysis and/or loan review in Commercial Banking.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Professional demeanor suitable for client interactions.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, relationship managers, and credit teams.

• Proficiency in financial and risk analysis, including financial modeling.

• Proven problem-solving skills.

• Comfortable with technology and able to learn new applications quickly.

• Some travel may be required.
