This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Take ownership of comprehensive relationships with a designated portfolio of European partners, serving as their main commercial contact.
• Develop and sustain collaborative account plans with each strategic partner, encompassing shared target lists, identified opportunities, and agreed-upon meeting cadence.
• Monitor portfolio health by assessing live volume, pipeline sourced, revenue share earned, and ongoing opportunities.
• Generate qualified leads through partner networks to meet quarterly objectives.
• Conduct joint pipeline sessions alongside partner sales teams.
• Establish referral and co-selling processes, including joint incentive frameworks and lead routing mechanisms.
• Create and implement joint go-to-market strategies, co-marketing initiatives, joint events, and account-based projects.
• Collaborate with Yuno sales teams to convert partner-generated leads through to closure.
• Identify and cultivate opportunities where acquiring banks, wallets, and fintechs can become Yuno clients.
• Manage the commercial cycle from qualification to signature, with Sales support for complex transactions.
• Negotiate partnership agreements, revenue-sharing models, and commercial terms in collaboration with Legal and Finance departments.
• Extend existing partnerships into new markets, products, and lines of business.
• Relay commercial and market insights back to the Product team.
• Provide insights on competitive dynamics, partner capabilities, and trends in European payments.
• Represent Yuno at industry events and leverage that visibility to build pipeline.
• Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and joint planning sessions with a focus on pipeline and revenue commitments.
• Must be located remotely within Europe.
• A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in partnerships, business development, or a senior commercial role in the payments, fintech, or financial services sectors.
• Proven track record of achieving and surpassing commercial targets in a partnership or business development context: sourced pipeline, closed deals, or delivered revenue share. Be ready to present the numbers.
• Experience in selling to payment providers or banks, rather than solely through them.
• Established history of independently managing strategic partner relationships with acquirers, payment processors, alternative payment methods, banks, or fraud solution providers, including commercial negotiations with senior and C-level stakeholders.
• Extensive knowledge of the European payments market, including an understanding of the local acquiring landscape and industry standards.
• Strong grasp of the payments value chain, covering acquiring, issuing, scheme networks, and alternative payment methods.
• Ability to work autonomously in uncertain environments: identify opportunities, structure approaches, and convert them into signed agreements with minimal oversight.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, particularly with executive-level counterparts.
• Capability to manage multiple strategic relationships concurrently in a dynamic environment.
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to define, monitor, and report on partnership KPIs.
• Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Legal, and Commercial teams.
