Commercial Paralegal – Mobility

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Draft commercial contracts and amendments, which include NDAs, customer contracts, credit agreements, program agreements, referral agreements, technology services agreements, and data sharing agreements.

• Review contract modifications requested by customers under the supervision of an attorney.

• Gather feedback and approvals from attorneys and cross-functional stakeholders, then revise documents accordingly.

• Assist with legal notices, correspondence, transaction documents, forms, and filings.

• Respond to internal inquiries regarding documentation and contract interpretation.

• Help with attestations and compliance certificates.

• Transition legacy contracts to the Malbek contract lifecycle management system.

• Manage contracts from intake through workflow routing, version control, execution, and post-signing activities.

• Oversee legal matter intake and workflow in Xakia.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and handle administrative tasks for Mobility legal matters.

• Work in partnership with Finance, Compliance, Risk, and other support functions.

• Contribute to strategic projects.

• Apply sound judgment and independent decision-making skills.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a paralegal degree or certification from an accredited program, or hold a bachelor's degree, or Juris Doctorate.

• Have 5+ years of paralegal or equivalent experience in commercial contracts and transactional matters.

• Demonstrated experience in drafting and generating agreements, redlining, reviewing contract revisions and comments, and managing contracts throughout the complete contract lifecycle.

• Familiarity with legal technologies, including matter management and contract lifecycle management systems.

• Previous in-house experience supporting one or more sales teams or similar customer-facing roles.

• Proven ability to learn IT applications and systems effectively.

• Strong skills in organization, multitasking, prioritizing, analysis, as well as written and verbal communication.

• High level of attention to detail and precision.

• Capability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to coordinate input from cross-functional stakeholders.

• Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and DocuSign.

• Experience in the transportation, fuel, trucking, or factoring industries is preferred.
