This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Support the sales team in acquiring profitable and feasible new business opportunities.
• Offer commercial assistance in deal structuring, negotiations, and contract development.
• Assess pricing for both existing and new business proposals in relation to company margins, risks, and contingency plans.
• Concentrate on securing new business within larger contracts.
• Ensure that customer and supplier bids and contracts are approved and evaluated in accordance with deal approval governance and policy.
• Identify, manage, and report significant commercial and legal risks while collaborating with the Legal team.
• Serve as the primary contact for principal client contracts and manage contract life cycles.
• Review, interpret, and advise on contractual rights and obligations.
• Lead contract change management initiatives and generate business-as-usual (BAU) contract variations.
• Create regular reports on contracts.
• Maintain organized and accessible contract records.
• Document, validate, and distribute minutes from commercial and negotiation meetings.
• Oversee ongoing contract administration, including contractual templates, toolkits, and notices.
• Assist in managing subcontractor relationships.
• Support due diligence and management information/audit data requests.
• Collaborate within client-specific management teams, overseeing activity pipelines and contributing to client strategy, reviews, and performance.
• Candidates must be eligible for SC clearance.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in contracts is preferred.
• Proven track record of managing and executing pre- and post-contract activities.
• Familiarity with bid preparation and submission processes, such as ITT, RFP, and BAFO.
• Capability to identify and analyze commercial risks, including KPIs, SLAs, contractual dependencies, and milestones.
• Strong skills in contract drafting and negotiation.
• In-depth knowledge of contract law and its relevance in software, IT, BPO, and professional services sectors.
• Basic financial understanding.
• Ability to generate reports and summaries for senior and/or non-commercial audiences.
• Competence in seeing tasks through to successful completion.
• Demonstrated resilience and self-motivation.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and perform well under pressure.
• Confidence in seeking support, input, and guidance when necessary.
• Excellent communication skills.
