Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Execute all tasks associated with documenting non-complex commercial loans utilizing LaserPro.

• Prepare documentation for various loan types, including commercial real estate, lines of credit, aircraft loans, preferred mortgages, as well as SBA (7a), Express, and 504 loans.

• Generate documents for new loans, renewals, and modifications.

• Ensure that loan documents adhere to credit approval terms, regulatory standards, and local, state, and federal guidelines.

• Organize, coordinate, and oversee daily activities to ensure work is completed accurately and punctually.

• Serve as an escalation point for issues related to documentation.

• Collaborate with underwriters, loan officers, and branch personnel to gather additional information.

• Assist in training team members on loan documentation processes, software applications, and templates.

• Engage in mandatory training related to compliance laws and regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) is required.

• 0 to 2 years of experience with loan documents is required, ideally including exposure to complex documents.

• Familiarity with commercial non-complex loans, departmental operations, loan database software, and Microsoft Office applications.

• Comprehension of the structural requirements of loan documentation.

• Capability to review credit approvals and organizational documents to ensure compliance with lending policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal abilities.

• Proficiency in writing clearly and informatively, with correct spelling and grammar.

• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.

• Capacity to manage multiple priorities concurrently.

• Ability to effectively organize heavy workloads in a deadline-driven atmosphere.
