This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Accountable for managing a commercial portfolio, including marketing, underwriting, negotiating renewals, conducting risk analysis, providing consulting, resolving problems, and performing reviews and evaluations.
• Cultivate effective business relationships and maintain frequent communication with clients, producers, and underwriters.
• Ensure that clients receive consistent and appropriate coverage, while advising them on any recommended changes.
• Assess existing policies and offer suggestions for placement alternatives.
• Enhance and cross-sell the portfolio to achieve the company's growth objectives.
• Utilize expertise in coverages and forms to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Contribute to the generation of new business and the retention of renewal accounts.
• Collaborate with producers to prepare specifications, applications, underwriting information, and other relevant details for marketing insurance products.
• Create business proposals and deliver professional presentations to clients.
• Active state Property & Casualty License.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an insurance brokerage setting.
• Must have a growing understanding of commercial insurance markets to secure new business and comprehend the supplemental insurance landscape.
• Capable of thriving under pressure in a team environment, effectively prioritizing risks to manage multiple workflows simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills, encompassing listening, verbal and written communication abilities, with a talent for effective communication.
