This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Deliver prompt, accurate, and courteous service to clients, producers, and company staff.
• Manage tasks related to acquiring, maintaining, growing, and servicing existing accounts in accordance with agency protocols and carrier guidelines.
• Oversee mid-size to large commercial construction lines accounts.
• Collaborate with the Account Executive and/or Department Lead on client servicing, guidance, and training initiatives.
• Prepare company submissions for both new and renewal business, market accounts, and draft proposals.
• Create change requests and review audits and policies to ensure accuracy.
• Establish and organize new account files in Applied EPIC.
• Invoice agency bill transactions within 48 hours and collect premiums efficiently.
• Inform producers of unpaid audits and request necessary actions.
• Review renewals with producers at least 120 days prior to expiration and develop marketing strategies.
• Prepare and process cancellations while following up on cancellation notices.
• Respond to carrier memos and manage updates accordingly.
• Fulfill client requests, including ID cards, evidence of property, certificates of insurance, and binders.
• Review and distribute policies and related documents to insured parties.
• Assess exposures, negotiate and interpret coverage, and discuss coverage details with clients.
• Evaluate and suggest additional coverage based on client requirements.
• Quote and propose coverage as deemed appropriate.
• Keep producers updated on account activities.
• Review aged receivables, renewal/expiration, and suspense reports.
• Respond to phone calls and emails within 24 hours.
• Process client requests within 24 hours.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of client activities in EPIC.
• Utilize the EPIC suspense system to follow up on outstanding items.
• Prioritize workload to minimize backlog.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
• Stay informed on rates, forms, and coverage changes through bulletins, trade publications, and seminars.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• College degree is preferred.
• Professional designation is advantageous.
• Extensive experience and knowledge of large commercial construction insurance within the New York and New Jersey markets.
• Familiarity with the Applied EPIC system or similar agency management systems.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products.
• Understanding of construction in New York and New Jersey is a significant plus.
• Excellent listening skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Positive attitude is essential.
• Must fulfill applicable state insurance licensing requirements for positions that necessitate a state insurance license.
• Must not be disqualified or barred from licensure.
• Must not be prohibited from conducting insurance business under Title 18 U.S. Code, §§1033 and 1034.
