This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional, professional customer service by promptly addressing client calls, written inquiries, and requests.

• Oversee a renewal book of business with an emphasis on client retention, cross-selling, and comprehensive account management.

• Assist producers in completing applications, preparing quotes for new and renewal business, and managing submissions effectively.

• Handle policy transactions, including renewals, endorsements, certificates, billing, audits, and rewrites.

• Ensure accurate record-keeping in the Applied agency management system while adhering to established workflows and procedures.

• Foster and sustain relationships with carrier partners and team members.

• Review policies, endorsements, and audits for precision prior to delivering them to clients.

• Market, quote, and bind coverage for both new and renewal accounts, taking independent charge of smaller renewals.

• Counsel clients on coverage options, address policy inquiries, and identify opportunities to enhance or fill coverage gaps.

• Assist with claims by informing carriers, following up on pending claims, and aiding in resolution processes.

• Organize and conduct meetings with clients and carriers when requested.

• Keep up with required continuing education, including courses related to construction.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in commercial lines account management.

• At least 3 of the last 5 years spent in an account manager role.

• Strong experience working with contractors, which includes reviewing insurance requirements for contracts and issuing certificates.

• Active Property & Casualty license in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

• Familiarity with non-admitted markets.

• Proficient knowledge of carrier websites and online quoting systems.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong customer service orientation, professionalism, and capacity to cultivate relationships.

• Effective time management and organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple priorities.

• Self-driven, goal-oriented, and detail-oriented.

• Openness to completing continuing education courses, including those related to construction.

• CRIS designation is preferred.
