Commercial Legal Counsel – EMEA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, ensuring alignment with business objectives while proactively addressing potential challenges. These agreements encompass SaaS agreements, strategic transactions, partner agreements, license agreements, professional service agreements, and data processing agreements.

• Provide and lead legal support for EMEA commercial teams, which includes transaction and RFP assistance.

• Aid in managing various legal matters, which may involve corporate entity support for products, collections, marketing, and/or litigation issues.

• Address daily legal inquiries in collaboration with other legal team members and various business units or departments.

• Manage ad hoc legal issues as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctorate is mandatory.

• A minimum of 7 years of substantial experience in providing commercial support and legal counsel in an international SaaS corporate environment.

• Demonstrated expertise in supporting a sales team within a technology company, with required experience in SaaS and channel partner programs.

• Experience in offering support on corporate matters for subsidiaries is preferred.

• Possess a commercial mindset: a team player with extensive experience and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional departments, having a strong grasp of business drivers and sales needs while managing risks effectively.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to organize and manage multiple projects across various regions and time zones.

• Must be self-motivated, resourceful, results-driven, deadline-oriented, and possess high multitasking capabilities.

• Ability to operate both independently and as part of a team.

• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.

• Proficient in English; knowledge of an additional language is advantageous.
