Commercial Kitchen Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise all stages of equipment package installations for new store projects of a national chain.

• Plan, monitor, coordinate, and oversee equipment package installations from procurement to final completion.

• Manage procurement, consolidation, shipping, and installations while ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.

• Collaborate with Design, Sales Operations, Distribution, and other internal teams to meet customer requirements.

• Review bid and contract documents to ensure compliance with contract specifications and design intent.

• Participate in weekly meetings, provide project updates, and address any project-related inquiries.

• Evaluate manufacturers’ quotes and approve shop drawings for design compliance.

• Ensure projects are delivered and installed punctually while optimizing profitability.

• Foster positive relationships with customers, vendors, subcontractors, General Contractors, and stakeholders.

• Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to tackle project challenges.

• Maintain meticulous attention to detail and uphold high standards of quality and accuracy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent military or practical experience.

• 2–4 years of project management experience, preferably within the foodservice industry.

• Sales/distribution experience is advantageous.

• Ability to successfully complete a background check after offer acceptance.

• Up to 5% travel may be required.

• Flexibility in schedule, including occasional overtime and weekend work.

• Strong organizational skills and capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proficient in relationship building and customer service.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
