Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Define, document, and oversee project roadmaps, milestones, deliverables, and inter-project dependencies for technical initiatives.

• Collaborate with architects, engineering leaders, developers, and operations teams to convert product and technical requirements into actionable execution plans.

• Identify technical limitations, project risks, and potential obstacles.

• Create effective risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with stakeholders.

• Coordinate resource requirements and priorities among teams.

• Ensure project delivery aligns with schedule discipline and budgetary expectations.

• Utilize Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or traditional project management methodologies as dictated by project needs.

• Prepare project updates, metrics, risks, and decisions for business leaders, project sponsors, and cross-functional teams.

• Facilitate vendor coordination, review statements of work, and monitor external deliverables.

• Adhere to quality, occupational safety, and environmental standards.

• Follow directives from quality, environmental, and occupational safety representatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, project management, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 10 years of project management experience in a technical, engineering, manufacturing, software, infrastructure, or high-technology setting.

• Proven track record of managing multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities, shared resources, and interdependent deliverables.

• Proficient in MS Project or similar project planning tools.

• Capable of developing schedules, tracking milestones, and managing dependencies.

• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Asana, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

• PMP, CSM, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.

• PgMP, PMI-ACP, or similar advanced project management certification is preferred.

• Previous hands-on experience in engineering, quality, manufacturing, software, systems, or a related technical field is preferred.

• Experience working with globally distributed or cross-cultural teams is preferred.

• Ability to adhere to applicable quality, occupational safety, and environmental standards.
