Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Identify and oversee project objectives, scope, deliverables, budget, staffing, and timeline.

• Set project expectations, procedures, and standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and codes.

• Plan, organize, and direct project personnel.

• Promote collaboration among internal team members, clients, vendors, and subcontractors.

• Provide take-offs for job estimation.

• Complete daily reports, project logs, and change orders.

• Document and submit weekly reports detailing project activities, progress, and budget status.

• Offer weekly updates to ensure coordination with other departments.

• Address or escalate contractual issues as necessary.

• Create SOVs and manage payments related to material deliveries and installation progress.

• Handle job-closing documentation and manage holdback releases.

• Conduct project post-mortems and suggest areas for improvement.

• Operate in typical construction settings while utilizing required personal protective equipment (PPE).

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of commercial construction practices, relevant regulations, building codes, quality standards, and tools.

• Familiarity with local, state, and federal workplace compliance regulations, ordinances, and legislation, including OSHA.

• Capability to read blueprints, schematics, field drawings, and plans.

• Proficient in negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.

• Skill in managing project budgets and implementing cost control measures.

• Strong professional verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to perform tasks accurately and meet deadlines.

• Capacity to work effectively both collaboratively and independently.

• Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• A valid, current driver’s license is required for company-related driving.

• High school diploma or equivalent is necessary.

• Frequent travel is required; residency in the GTA area is a must.

• Ability to occasionally reach, bend, kneel, and crouch.

• Capability to safely lift up to 40 pounds.

• 2–5 years of experience as a Project Manager is required.
