Commercial HVAC Service Technician – Union

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Conduct inspections and maintenance for air-conditioning and HVAC systems.

• Identify and rectify mechanical and electrical issues within heating and cooling units.

• Install, replace, and calibrate HVAC machinery, thermostatic controls, and liquid lines.

• Maintain refrigeration systems, including refrigerators, ice machines, gas packs, and heat pumps.

• Oversee chilled and hot water supply systems and fine-tune internal control systems.

• Assemble and install metal ductwork, contributing to HVAC system planning and design.

• Keep comprehensive maintenance records to ensure adherence to City, State, and EPA regulations.

• Recognize and address workplace hazards.

• Work alongside management to uphold safety and operational standards.

• Deliver expert commercial HVAC services in the field for Carrier clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in the HVAC industry.

• Capability to push, pull, and lift weights up to 50 lbs.

• Possession of EPA Universal Certification.

• Must be able to stand, crawl, sit, squat for extended periods, climb ladders, and work on rooftops.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Valid and current driver's license is essential.

• Must be eligible for coverage by the company’s insurance provider.

• Basic knowledge of building automation controls is advantageous.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Familiarity with Salesforce and ServiceMax is preferred.
