This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.
• Create qualification packages, proposals, requests for information, and various pursuit deliverables for intricate data center and manufacturing projects.
• Analyze solicitation requirements, client objectives, and evaluation criteria to develop response strategies, content frameworks, and submission timelines.
• Draft, revise, and customize both technical and commercial materials.
• Coordinate reviews, gather feedback from contributors, and produce refined final submissions.
• Develop sales estimates, pricing models, cost summaries, and scenario analyses.
• Construct and manage advanced Excel workbooks for assumptions, alternatives, pricing effects, and commercial decision-making.
• Verify source data, formulas, exclusions, qualifications, escalation factors, and commercial assumptions.
• Examine pricing sensitivity, scope modifications, delivery options, and integration requirements.
• Incorporate electrical, mechanical, controls, modular, manufacturing, and construction solution data into proposals.
• Assess specifications, drawings, data sheets, and scope documents for dependencies, risks, and information gaps.
• Assist in opportunity qualification through research on clients, markets, projects, competitors, and solution fit.
• Prepare capability statements, project profiles, experience matrices, and organizational information.
• Monitor assumptions, questions, clarifications, commitments, and decisions.
• Provide support for sales meetings, client presentations, interviews, and internal opportunity reviews.
• Maintain proposal libraries, resumes, case studies, project data, technical narratives, pricing files, and standard content.
• Implement version control, naming conventions, access controls, and review workflows.
• Edit content and design tables, charts, summaries, and visual materials.
• Manage deadlines, assignments, dependencies, and review cycles across multiple concurrent pursuits.
• Reconcile inputs from Sales, Marketing, Estimating, Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Finance, Legal, and other contributors.
• Identify missing or conflicting information and foster continuous process enhancement.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management, Communications, Finance, or a similar field.
• Over 5 years of experience in proposal development, sales operations, commercial development, estimating, pricing analysis, or a comparable role in support of complex technical solutions.
• Experience in the industry supporting data center, manufacturing, industrial, modular, mission-critical, construction, engineering, or integrated technology initiatives.
• Proven ability to write, edit, and structure comprehensive technical and commercial content for qualification packages and proposals.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, linked workbooks, lookups, pivot tables, data validation, scenario analysis, and clear presentation of pricing information.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with proposal automation, CRM, document management, or collaboration platforms is preferred.
• Data center experience is advantageous.
