Commercial Claims Litigation Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Claims Leadership Team to design and implement settlement strategies on a claim-by-claim basis.

• Oversee and provide constructive feedback to Claim Specialists regarding claim outcomes and audits.

• Offer file direction and supervision to direct reports.

• Develop procedural documents backed by data to enhance expenses, cycle times, and service quality.

• Work collaboratively across departments to investigate insurance claims and streamline claims processing.

• Prepare and deliver precise reports and correspondence on complex or detailed claims, including findings and recommendations.

• Assess the need for in-house or external expert assistance.

• Manage relationships with vendors.

• Lead a skilled team of Claim Specialists in following Best Practices, Compliance, Reserving Guidelines, and Litigation Guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in Commercial General Liability Claims, particularly in Construction Defect, Professional Liability, EPLI, etc.

• A minimum of 5 to 10+ years of management experience.

• Experience in litigation management.

• Proficient in vendor management.

• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, multitasking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capacity to comprehend claims adjudication processes, claim law, and jurisdictional matters.

• Robust research and investigative skills.

• Capable of negotiation, conflict resolution, and persuasion.

• Reliability, integrity, and personal accountability.

• Commitment to ethical standards and professional conduct.

• Strong service orientation with the ability to understand and address diverse client needs.

• Attainment or pursuit of CPCU, PCLS/PCLA, SPPA, AIC2, or SCLA designations.

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
