This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Drive the acquisition of new clients and foster revenue growth within the employer market segment.
β’ Identify, pursue, and successfully close high-value opportunities that align with strategic objectives and the solution portfolio.
β’ Lead the comprehensive sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and final closing.
β’ Develop and implement targeted go-to-market strategies for employer prospects.
β’ Establish and nurture relationships with C-level executives and senior stakeholders.
β’ Position the organization as a trusted advisor among multiple decision-makers and influencers.
β’ Collaborate with marketing, solution consulting, and delivery teams to create compelling value propositions.
β’ Ensure smooth transitions from new client acquisitions to client success.
β’ Monitor emerging trends in healthcare to inform outreach strategies and competitively position offerings.
β’ Achieve and surpass new business sales quotas and key performance indicators.
β’ Maintain precise forecasts and effectively manage the sales pipeline.
β’ Cultivate relationships with large and mid-market consulting partners.
β’ Communicate the Truven value narrative and enhance partner confidence in collaboration with Truven teams.
β’ 8+ years of progressive experience in B2B sales, preferably within the employer or health-related sectors.
β’ Proven "hunter" mentality with a solid track record of meeting or exceeding new logo sales targets in complex, consultative settings.
β’ Outstanding prospecting, negotiation, and closing abilities, with a knack for navigating lengthy sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
β’ In-depth knowledge of employer procurement processes, budget cycles, and regulatory frameworks.
β’ Capability to convey value through insight-driven storytelling and align solutions with client priorities and measurable outcomes.
β’ Strong business acumen with experience in managing forecasts, pipeline development, and deal structures.
β’ Excellent collaboration skills with experience working cross-functionally to develop customized proposals and solution strategies.
β’ 25%β50% travel expected, depending on the time of year.
β’ A bachelor's degree is required.
β’ An advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
