
Collibra Engineer – Data Governance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Support the federal customer's mission through effective data management assistance.
• Strive for continuous enhancements in data visibility, clarity, consistency, completeness, and interoperability.
• Oversee and refine both manual and automated processes within the Collibra data governance platform.
• Create strategies to automate workflows in Collibra.
• Develop, execute, and maintain the organization's data catalog.
• Ensure accurate cataloging, description, and accessibility of data across systems for stakeholders.
• Sustain and improve metadata standards to enhance data discoverability.
• Promote data access and sharing within the organization.
• Enrich the data governance platform by integrating capabilities for data quality, metadata, and process management.
• Formulate, comply with, and provide guidance to development teams on logical data models, plain-language naming, and description standards for database assets.
• Provide support to a federal client as part of AMDEX.ai's data solutions services.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Data Governance, Reporting, and/or Metadata management.
• At least 2 years of experience in configuring and supporting Collibra or other Metadata/Data Governance tools.
• Completion of the Collibra developer pathway training is mandatory.
• Proficiency in installing and maintaining software tools in a Linux environment.
• Experience in full-stack development and Java programming.
• Skilled in establishing complex database connections and queries.
• Experience in designing and enhancing Collibra Workflows, Groovy/Java, and BPMN.
• Outstanding communication and language abilities related to metadata tagging, naming conventions, definitions, and cataloging.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Library and Information Sciences, or a related academic discipline combined with strong database/developer experience.
• Active DHS suitability/clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
