Collegiate Select Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of partner objectives, requirements, and operating rhythms within a designated territory.

• Create and oversee a strong growth and renewal pipeline.

• Utilize industry connections and forge new relationships to expedite customer acquisition.

• Lead sales presentations, commercial discussions, negotiations, and agreements for both new and renewal contracts.

• Broaden partnerships within athletics and additional campus departments.

• Assist with onboarding, activation, systems setup, branding workflows, product education, and service introduction.

• Conduct business reviews to pinpoint service risks, adoption gaps, and opportunities for growth.

• Execute collegiate RFPs and bids in collaboration with go-to-market operations and cross-functional teams.

• Act as the Collegiate Select authority for Field Sales, territory teams, support teams, and campus stakeholders.

• Provide guidance and coaching on Field Sales strategy, tools, change leadership, CRM discipline, order processes, and licensing compliance.

• Work alongside Marketing on market-specific campaigns, presentations, communication frameworks, engagement programs, and resources.

• Maintain CRM records and monitor pipeline activity, customer visits, business reviews, and follow-ups.

• Leverage data, customer feedback, and performance trends to enhance activation, satisfaction, adoption, retention, expansion, and efficiency.

• Report directly to the Senior Vice President of Collegiate Select.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• Residency in a Midwest Territory state is preferred but not mandatory.

• At least ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in collegiate sales, business development, strategic partnerships, account management, customer success, onboarding, or similar roles.

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in customer-facing, strategic, or operational functions.

• Collegiate sales experience is required.

• Experience in or with collegiate athletics or university settings is highly preferred.

• Proven success in presenting to, influencing, and cultivating relationships with executive-level clients and complex organizations.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives concurrently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

• Strategic leadership capability: able to transform long-term opportunities into actionable plans and effective daily execution.

• Outstanding business acumen in areas such as sales, negotiation, contract management, strategic planning, executive account management, and problem-solving.

• Strong customer focus and ability to establish lasting internal and external relationships.

• Executive-level communication skills with the poise and clarity to influence senior executives, institutional partners, and internal teams.

• Ability to collaborate across functions, align teams, and drive outcomes without direct authority.

• Excellent organization and accountability skills while balancing competing priorities and tight deadlines.

• Sound and timely decision-making that weighs customer outcomes against organizational goals, risks, and opportunities.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms, with the capability to utilize business intelligence and AI tools.
