This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Guide clients through the complete implementation of the Colleague Financial Aid module, utilizing Colleague documentation and industry best practices.
β’ Conduct training sessions for designated client groups, emphasizing Colleague best practices.
β’ Offer post-go-live assistance to enhance standard operations and processes.
β’ Provide short-term consulting services to evaluate existing procedures and recommend optimizations.
β’ Deliver federal and state regulatory support to ensure compliance with the U.S. Department of Education.
β’ Share best practices and support throughout the entire financial aid cycle for an academic year.
β’ Offer managed-services support and onsite assistance for specified periods.
β’ Collaborate with key stakeholders to address both short- and long-term financial aid requirements for clients using Colleague.
β’ Travel as necessary to deliver onsite support for clients.
β’ 3-5 years of experience in the Higher Education Industry as a knowledgeable subject matter expert in financial aid.
β’ 3-5 years of hands-on experience with the Ellucian Colleague Financial Aid module, showcasing advanced user proficiency.
β’ Background in consulting, with a focus on improving business processes, establishing standard operations, and enhancing operational efficiency.
β’ Proven expertise in utilizing Colleague to refine and automate business processes within a college or university's Financial Aid office.
β’ Capability to swiftly identify and resolve technical and/or functional challenges within the Colleague Financial Aid module.
β’ Exceptional experience in effective communication across various business areas.
β’ Ability to work autonomously with a sense of urgency when required to provide clients with timely support.
β’ In-depth knowledge of where student financial aid data is stored within Colleague, including support for reports within Colleague and assistance to SIG technical consultants with external report writing.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
β’ Preferred: Experience managing project-based initiatives.
β’ Preferred: Familiarity with Colleague best practices across different higher education institutions.
β’ Preferred: Proficiency in reading and writing SQL queries.
