This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Collaborate with seasoned PMHNPs to treat psychiatry patients with low to medium acuity using evidence-based methodologies.
• Perform chart reviews and offer timely insights on diagnoses, treatment strategies, medication management, and clinical escalations.
• Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances when permitted by law and clinically suitable.
• Be accessible during designated working hours and at the conclusion of PMHNP shifts as required by relevant state regulations.
• Provide mentorship to clinicians while upholding Legion's clinical standards, documentation requirements, and responsible-prescribing protocols.
• Assist Legion in broadening access to high-quality psychiatric care throughout the United States.
• An active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• MD or DO medical degree.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry.
• Strong skills in clinical assessment, diagnostics, and medication management.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Comfort with providing care remotely and utilizing electronic health record systems.
• A commitment to patient-centered, compassionate, and evidence-based care.
• Capability to review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances, in compliance with applicable laws and clinical guidelines.
• Active DEA individual practitioner registration is included in the application requirements.
