This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Collaborate with seasoned PMHNPs to provide care for low- and medium-acuity psychiatry patients utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
• Perform chart evaluations and offer prompt advice on diagnoses, treatment strategies, medication management, and clinical escalations.
• Review and approve prescriptions, including controlled substances, when legally permissible and clinically suitable.
• Be accessible during agreed-upon working hours and at the conclusion of PMHNP shifts as required by relevant state regulations.
• Mentor clinicians while upholding Legion's clinical standards, documentation requirements, and responsible-prescribing protocols.
• Deliver responsive clinical guidance and make independent prescribing decisions when legally allowed and clinically suitable.
• Assist Legion in broadening access to high-quality psychiatric care throughout the United States.
• MD or DO degree in psychiatry.
• Active, unrestricted medical license to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Current, active DEA individual practitioner registration.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry.
• Strong skills in clinical assessment, diagnostics, and medication management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Comfortable providing remote care and utilizing electronic health record systems.
• Commitment to delivering patient-centered, compassionate, evidence-based care.
• Capable of reviewing and authorizing prescriptions, including controlled substances, based on independent clinical judgment and relevant laws.
• Ability to work part-time and accept Legion's monthly supervisory compensation rates.

• Receive substantial administrative support, including scheduling, insurance verification, billing, prior authorizations, and pharmacy coordination.
