This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Assist the Global AWS Supplier Engagement, GCM Business Management, Regional and Local Customer, and Internal Operations teams.
• Act as the liaison and primary connection to the client in crafting the strategic direction of the Global Supplier Enablement Program.
• Promote supplier engagement and onboarding standards, ensuring compliance, reporting, harmonization, and ongoing improvement through proficient project management.
• Convert customer and supplier needs into a unified global Supplier Enablement Program featuring standardized processes, workflows, systems, reporting, and scalable site solutions.
• Collaborate with Business Management, Customer Enablement, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Solution Design, IT, Automation, Quality, Safety, and other CoE functions.
• Function as the global supplier interface across AWS, DSV Global Customer Management, Operations, and supporting functions.
• Spearhead the strategic supplier program for GCM, concentrating on operational excellence, process and tool development, governance, compliance, and global standardization.
• Analyze current and future-state processes, pinpoint operational gaps, and create standardized process flows, SOPs, control points, and implementation playbooks.
• Set engineered performance standards and KPIs for throughput, cycle time, capacity, quality, compliance, cost, and service.
• Oversee and evaluate supplier performance, communicate outcomes, and raise significant risks or performance gaps.
• Identify and execute continuous improvement, digitalization, and automation initiatives.
• Specify requirements for supplier management tools, reporting platforms, dashboards, data interfaces, and system integrations.
• Lead or assist with pilots, proofs of concept, testing, implementation, stabilization, and post-launch performance validation.
• Ensure that supplier solutions meet DSV and AWS standards for operations, quality, safety, security, sustainability, and data governance.
• Benchmark supplier performance across various sites and regions, implementing transferable best practices.
• Formulate supplier communication and change management strategies.
• Maintain a global roadmap and project pipeline for supplier-enablement enhancements, engineering initiatives, and technology deployments.
• Facilitate communication across functions and organizational levels to secure stakeholder alignment and leadership engagement.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Preference for candidates with experience in VMI, supplier operations, warehousing, data center logistics, technology customers, or complex global accounts.
• Strong analytical skills, including process mapping, capacity modeling, productivity analysis, KPI development, quantitative analysis, and business case preparation.
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma, value-stream mapping, root-cause analysis, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience in translating operational needs into specifications for processes, systems, reporting, digital tools, or automation solutions.
• Capability to lead cross-functional initiatives with minimal oversight.
• Strong communication, mediation, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities across various organizational levels and regions.
• Skill in building consensus, influencing decision-makers, and effectively presenting to senior leadership.
• Competence to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic, and changing global environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proven history of meeting or surpassing established business, operational, and program objectives.
• Willingness to travel regularly or work weekend/overnight shifts as needed.
• Base pay range of $102,000–$127,000 USD annually.
