COE Lead, Automated QA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead and enhance the skills of QA and testing professionals.

• Provide technical guidance, career progression, ongoing training, and talent retention strategies.

• Define and advance quality standards, frameworks, processes, and best practices.

• Organize and develop the QA/Testing Center of Excellence (COE).

• Ensure teams remain informed on best practices, tools, and industry trends.

• Construct and oversee the technical roadmap for the discipline.

• Advocate for Quality Engineering and Shift-Left Testing methodologies.

• Promote the development of test automation and its integration into CI/CD pipelines.

• Support the implementation and evolution of SAI App 3.0.

• Assist in team allocation, capacity planning, and sizing strategies.

• Collaborate with Client Faces, clients, leaders, and various stakeholders.

• Cultivate a culture centered on continuous quality, automation, and defect prevention.

• Act as a technical and people leader in Software Quality, Testing, and Automation.

• Develop professionals, enhance capabilities, set quality standards, and drive the transformation of testing practices.

• Formulate strategies, governance, and professional allocation based on the specific needs of each project and client.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in defining and executing testing strategies.

• Proficiency in functional, regression, integration, and End-to-End (E2E) testing.

• Familiarity with Shift-Left practices and ensuring quality throughout the entire development lifecycle.

• Experience with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and/or RestAssured.

• Knowledge in automation and API testing.

• Understanding of performance and load testing using JMeter and/or k6.

• Experience in establishing Quality Gates within CI/CD pipelines.

• Proven experience in leading and mentoring QA teams and technical professionals.

• Ability to define standards and frameworks while leading technical quality governance.

• Strong communication abilities and stakeholder management skills, including collaboration with clients and Client Faces.

• Background in pricing and developing technical proposals.

• Experience in estimating project sizes and QA teams, considering effort estimates, seniority, skills, and team composition.

• Knowledge of and experience with the application of Artificial Intelligence in Testing and Quality.

• Proficiency in AI-assisted test case generation.

• Expertise in test data creation and generation.

• Ability to accelerate automation through AI support.

• Proficient in AI-assisted defect analysis and identification.

• Advanced proficiency in English or Spanish.
